Unlike most mini markets in Penang, Suan Hin Mini Market pretty much sells most of the ingredients you need to cook a meal. The owner of the mini market sells vegetables and other typical stuff that a mini market would have, while there are other stalls within the shop that sell meat (chicken, pork), fish, and tofu. These stalls are run by separate owners.
Suan Hin Mini Market is located near the popular Genting Cafe and Mandarin Cafe. So, it is very convenient for people to have breakfast, and then proceed to the mini market to get the stuff for their daily cooking. Many people living in Island Glades actually go to Suan Hin Mini Market instead of the normal wet market/pasar. One downside is that the goods sold here is typically slightly more expensive, compare to places like Tesco. But, the convenience provided by Suan Hin Mini Market is unbeatable, especially for people living in the Island Glades area.
