For many years since its founding in 1997, Secret Recipe is well known for its fine quality gourmet cakes. It used to be a place where people would go for celebrations, before the mushrooming of the many cafes in Penang (and Malaysia). Although there are so much more competition today, Secret Recipe has remained strong. It has evolved into a lifestyle cafe and restaurant, serving many varieties of food and beverages. Appetizers, main courses, desserts, coffee and many types of drinks can be had at Secret Recipe. For me personally, I still like their cakes best.
