ParaThai is a chain restaurant serving authentic Thai food, with many branches in the Klang Valley. It recently spread its wings to Penang, opening a branch in Gurney Plaza.
There are quite a good variety of Thai food served at ParaThai Restaurant, including mango salad, tomyam soup, green curry chicken, cashew nut chicken, pandan chicken, fried chicken wings, steamed fish, fried fish, vegetables, Thai fried rice, Thai omelette, desserts and more. And, I must say that the food is delicious.
ParaThai Restaurant at Gurney Plaza occupies a relatively small area. It can feel a little crowded during peak hours, but the dining experience is still quite comfortable. On various occasions, I found myself having to queue, but the waiting time was generally reasonable. And, the restaurant staffs are polite and attentive. It is definitely an excellent restaurant to enjoy Thai food.
