I visited Straits Quay on Saturday, 25 November 2017, and was delighted that the Christmas decorations are up at Straits Court, the open area in front of the entrance to Straits Quay Mall. There are Christmas trees, snowmen, teddy bears, reindeer and snow flakes.
It happened that the Straits Quay Christmas Charity Bazaar 2017 was ongoing (25-26 November 2017). There are many items on sale for charity, including clothes, soft toys, handcrafts, small decorative items and gifts. We ended up buying a dress, a pencil case and a rock painting kit for our daughter. She was very happy. There were also performances at the open area. We managed to catch a group singing Christmas songs. The Straits Quay environment is festive and lively at this time of the year.
At the time of writing, the Straits Quay Christmas Charity Bazaar 2017 still has another day to go on Sunday, 26 November 2017. Do plan to pay a visit. You may find a nice gift for Christmas and contribute to charity at the same time. Have fun!
