Of all the McDonald’s Restaurants in Penang, McDonald’s Greenlane is my favourite. It has quite a big area, so there are ample spaces for customers to dine. It feels comfortable going into the restaurant when it is not crowded. The location can get really busy at times though, especially in the weekends. The restaurant also has a 24-hour Drive-Thru service.
McDonald’s Greenlane has a children’s play room with slides, so I can bring my daughter here to play, while I enjoy a cup of coffee. Normally, I’ll buy an ice cream for my daughter, and snacks & coffee for myself. It is definitely a fun place for my daughter, as she will get to know new friends. She can easily spend up to 30 minutes playing with other children in the room.
Apart from the children’s play room, McDonald’s Greenlane also has a room dedicated for children’s birthday parties. The party room looks clean, and is nicely decorated with balloons. You will have to book in advance in order to hold birthday parties at the restaurant. I have seen children playing games like musical chairs at their birthday parties here. It is definitely a fun place to hold birthday or other parties.
