I was at Gurney Paragon Mall last Sunday (10 March 2019), and was intrigued by the i.Jooz orange juice vending machine located on the Lower Ground Floor (LG), beside the lifts. The i.Jooz vending machine sells pure orange juice for RM7 per cup, with “no added sugar”, “no added water”, and “no added ice”. Each cup contains juice squeezed from 4 fresh oranges, so probably the price is quite reasonable. A cup of Starbucks coffee costs more. After inserting the money, you can actually view the oranges being squeezed, which is pretty cool.
I did some checking on the internet. The i.Jooz orange juice vending machine is operated by Fruits Vending Ptd. Ltd., a company based in Singapore. It is indeed a new trend having freshly squeezed juice from a vending machine. I believe we will see more and more of these vending machines in the near future.

There is also a fresh orange juice vending machine at Tesco Penang (Tesco Jelutong). This vending machine is managed by Zumex Life Essence. The price is RM5 per cup. Each cup contains juice squeezed from 3 fresh oranges. It is now getting more convenient for people to get freshly-squeezed orange juice and lead a healthy lifestyle.
