Harvest Times Cafe is a popular dining place in Georgetown, Penang (Address: 4, Jalan Irrawaddi, 10050 Georgetown, Penang. Tel: 04-2277004). It is housed in a nice, refurbished building – two houses merged into one. Customers usually park along the roadside near the restaurant (as it is in a residential area), but there is also paid parking nearby.
Harvest Times Cafe mainly serves Western food, with some fusion selections. The food is of good quality, and tastes good. The price is reasonable as well. It is generally cheaper to dine here, compared to Western restaurants like The Ship or Victoria’s Station. The food can be ordered ala-carte, but there is also an option to pay RM7 to make it a set meal, which comes with soup, dessert and drinks. The soup served is normally mushroom soup, and it is pretty good – definitely worth spending RM7 for the set option.
The dining area is nice and comfortable. However, quite often the restaurant gets pretty crowded, especially in the weekend. It can be quite noisy dining here when there are many customers. I have also seen people holding children’s birthday party here.
