Annathai Kitchen is a Thai restaurant in Pulau Tikus, Georgetown, Penang (opposite Moulmein Rise Luxury Suites, near the Pulau Tikus market). The restaurant is a family business, and serves authentic, home-style Thai food. The chef (mother), Anna is from the Cha-uat District in southern Thailand. She cooks up many fantastic dishes from her hometown, so it is authentic Thai food.
Annathai Kitchen operates in a residential house, which gives customers a homey feeling. The dishes served here are simple and nice. Many of the dishes are home-style Thai food, for example, the garlic black pepper chicken, pork knuckle, deep-fried fish with homemade chilli & mango salad, cha om omelette, stir fried watercress vegetable, sambal petai, sambal pucuk paku (fern), tomyam, Thai curry, and many more. The mango with sticky rice dessert is also very nice.
