A.M. Noshery is a small restaurant in Island Glades, Penang. It serves mostly Western breakfast, but, it also has the local Hakka noodles in the menu. A.M. stands for Ann Marie, the name of the restaurant’s owner.
I went to A.M. Noshery recently (on 26 January 2018), and found that the Hakka noodles are pretty good. The Hakka noodles are flat noodles tossed with soy-based sauce, minced meat, cubed carrots, and chilli paste. A small bowl of soup with meat balls comes together with the Hakka noodles.
Although I like the Hakka noodles best, A.M. Noshery’s specialty is the A.M. Cups, which are small “breakfast cups” made up of bread cupping and egg, together with either bacon, ham, or sausage. The restaurant also serves ham wrapped in tortilla (A.M. Wraps), baked chicken rice set, and mushroom soup.
The restaurant is very clean, and I like the calm environment as there are usually not too many dine-in customers during breakfast.
A.M. Noshery is located on a row of shop houses along Lorong Delima 6 (Address: 2D, Lorong Delima 6, Taman Island Glades, 11700 Gelugor, Penang). Genting Cafe is just nearby.
