Deepavali this year falls on Monday, 24 October 2022. At Gurney Plaza, the Festival Of Lights was ushered in with a colourful Deepavali-themed decorations at its Centre Atrium. There were colourful rangolis (or kolam) and a majestic peacock standing mighty & proud at the centre of the decoration. The kolams were created via the “Community Kolam Art Project”, a collaboration between Penang Art District, USM School Of The Arts and Gurney Plaza.
