I recently sold my old Proton Wira car. The car was covered by Etiqa Insurance, and there was still about 6 months of coverage left. I went to the Etiqa Insurance & Takaful Bay Avenue branch to claim the refund for the remaining car insurance coverage premium.
Etiqa Insurance & Takaful Bay Avenue branch is located on the row of shop houses facing Persiaran Bayan Indah, so, you can easily spot it from the road (which leads to Queensbay Mall).
Customers are expected to register at an automated machine in order to request for service. The easiest registration method is to slot in your MyKad (Malaysian identity card) into the machine, and you will be registered automatically. You can also register manually by typing your personal information. After the registration is done, customers need to wait for their name to be displayed.
There are 2 counters serving customers at Etiqa Insurance & Takaful Bay Avenue. I was there on a Wednesday morning (around 10AM), and there were not many customers. The wait was comfortable and fast. The customer service officer was very good at helping me with my refund request, and got it done in about 10 minutes. The service was excellent.
