Barry’s Cafe is a cafe-cum-restaurant in the heart of Georgetown (Address: 27, Lebuh Bishop, 10200 Georgetown, Penang. Tel: 012-8911869). It serves a variety of Western and Asian food, cakes, coffee, beers, and wines. Some of the food served here are pork ribs, stewed beef ribs, lamb shank, grilled chicken chop, fish and chips, pasta, char koay teow, fried rice, and many more.
I came across Barry’s Cafe recently (24 October 2018) while attending to some matters in Lebuh Bishop. We ordered fish and chips for a quick snack, and it was pretty good. It was served hot and crispy.
The dining area is clean and comfortable. There are many pictures of famous celebrities on the wall.
Another interesting thing is that Barry’s Cafe has an online ordering system, if you want to self-order through your smartphone. Of course, you can also order the traditional way.
