San By The Three Wines is a restaurant in Gurney Walk which serves European-Mediterranean cuisine with a good selection of wines. Unlike The Three Wines at Bay Avenue which focuses more on classic wine labels, San By The Three Wines serves more variety of food. Premium oysters and wagyu are in the menu.
We visited San By The Three Wines on a late Sunday afternoon recently for a meal. It was not crowded, as the lunch crowd had left. We ordered 2 set lunches, which are available daily. The set came with salad, Aglio e Olio spaghetti and the main course. Drinks and chocolate ice cream can be added on which an additional RM5 charge. The main courses we had were chicken confit and seafood bouillabaisse (French seafood stew). The waiter also recommended the black sweet vinegar pig’s trotter, which goes very well with white rice.
All the food we ordered tasted very good. The portion weren’t too big, so it is ok to order more when dining in this restaurant.
The dining environment is very nice as well. The tables are nicely spaced, and the place is clean and orderly. Overall, San By The Three Wines is a nice wine restaurant to dine in.
